I see one "nature" (a.k.a. "person", "personality") always inferior to Jehovah (e.g. verse 6's "no consideration to a seizure …" and verse 11's "to the glory of God the Father", but several different "offices" (a.k.a "forms", "positions"), as I mentioned in your intial clip quoting me. Thus, verse 6 uses the term "in God's form"; verse 7 discusses an emptying process (a.k.a. "dwarf transformation") to "a slave's form" (a.k.a. "in the likeness of men"; and verse 9 mentions God exalting Jesus "to a superior position" over what verse 10 calls "those in heaven" (a.k.a. "angels and the 144,000"), "those on earth" (a.k.a. living humans), and "those under the ground" (a.k.a. "those in the memorial tombs, the righteous and the unrighteous".

Actually, not just any "Bible" will do for a JW. Some translations/ versions/ paraphrases don't teach JW understanding very well (at least on certain points), others (like the NWT Reference Bible) do extraordinarily well, and many fall between the two extremes. JWs may ask which translations the minister is familiar with, and do some research regarding the topics the minister has in mind. Sometimes an interlinear with the Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, etc. proves to be helpful in addition, or perhaps a Bible commentary or Bible dictionary, etc is required to fill in some gaps.

New World Translation, is it the best bible translation?
by littlebuddy inmy jw elder friend said to me that the nwt is the best translation of the bible and that scholars have said as much.
is this true and is it the best?
are there scholars who disagree?.

Reniaa's Post 2275 puts me in mind of John 17:3. While the NWT Reference Bible writes that verse [with footnote] as This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you [Or, their knowing you." Greek, hi´na gi·no´sko·si se.], the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.; Lamsa's New Testament According to the Eastern Text renders it as And this is life eternal, that they might know you, that you are the only true God, even the one who sent Jesus Christ.
So the NWT tells that to live forever, knowledge of both the only true God and of Jesus Christ are required. On the other hand, Lamsa's tells that to live forever just knowledge of the only true God is required. The difference between "and" and "even" is considerable.
This simply illustrates that we have know the translation of our audience to know which scriptures we CAN'T use to support a given argument we want to teach.

i have since explained the situation to my witness mom and dad, 80 &82, they are good with it.
i am taking copies of the counsel you ex elders gave to me to be careful about what i say at this "alleged encouragement" meeting and promise you this, i'll watch my words carefully when they ask me questions.

Actually, just the odd slice here or there might be in a frozen mixed vegetable pack, which I put some of into a soup dish I make each week. I forgot about that. Most of my meals are pretty much the same, day after day, week after week. That's just how it works best for me, whether it's Asperger's that's at the root of that, perhaps it is. I don't do food to enjoy it, I just do it so I keep my concentration and energy where it needs to be.
By the way, I see we both look out for that banging game you got going for us. It's great to have something that we all take turns at: day after day, month after month, year after year.

Anyone heard of Watchtower policy change concerning pedophiles

the claim of any substantive change in the policy on pedophiles is news to me.
can anybody verify or falsify this claim?.

2 Timothy 3:5 mentions those "having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away."
True godly devotion causes true repentance and the person is thus a Full-Time Jehovah's witness, his mind and heart now exclusively devoted to Jehovah God. With the full suit of armor from Jehovah, any wrong tendencies will be kept out, for Jehovah MAKES his own stand, as the Scriptures bear out.
